A Quick Fix … why doesn't it last?
You want a quick fix that stays fixed?
Precisely!
You can find any number of quick solutions for most problems. Some of them even work — temporarily.
The Alexander Technique could be used in this way — as a treatment: as something that patches you up for a while. We don't normally consider this worth mentioning. It's not what the Alexander Technique is about.
Of course, used that way, it wouldn't stay fixed. Just like any quick fix, the problem would return.
When it did, you could still be glad you'd started learning the Alexander Technique. You would have good reason to be pleased: you'd already have started building a lasting solution, even if that wasn't what you originally intended.
